Can you hear me?

I hate it! I can barely hear through my right ear! waaaaah! And I have to wait until next week for it to be checked... I'm having a hard time listening to persons talking to my right. The bad thing about it is that my work PC in the lab is at the left corner. So each time someone approaches me to ask for something I have to turn around to hear him clearly. Hmmm... I hope that it's just earwax that causes this and not a permanent hearing impairment. Good luck to me.

All-Star Weekend

Francine Prieto, Ian Veneracion, Aiko Melendez, Jen Rosendhal, and Jackie Manzano had the privilege of seeing us in person as we stroll around Serendra. Must be their lucky day. eheheh

Another one bites the dust

Life is too short some say, so let's live it meaningfully. Yesterday, I was told that another one of our neighbors died. Yes, another one. There were three, as far as I know, who died in our neighborhood. The first one was stabbed, the other one fell on the floor of the bathroom (they said it was a heart attack) and the third died of "bangungot". All in a span of a week. Makes me think how they lived their lives. Are they good people? Are they church goers? And if they are, do they really believe and obey God? Have they done their purpose in life? Are they satisfied? Questions that I obviously won't get answers to. Life-- we really don't know how long it will last. We just have to live it to its fullest extent but also keeping in mind about what will happen after death. We have to let no opportunities pass by and seize everyday of our lives by being radical but inspirational, partying hard but with holiness and being lovers of ourselves with the same love for others. Life is a preparation for our death and death is the start of our after life.

Even at our birth, death does but stand aside a little. And every day he looks towards us and muses somewhat to himself whether that day or the next he will draw nigh... - Robert Bolt

Sickness sucks!

What I missed because of sickness:

1. Basketball with officemates.
2. Bowling with Freya's friends.
3. Lunch out for project release. (was waiting for this for a long time)
4. Health and Beauty seminar. (church sponsored)
5. Puerto Galera. (our last chance to go to the beach!)

Oh well, that's life. But on the brighter side, we were able to watch Transformers on reclining seats at Trinoma cinema over the weekend. It made me want to be an Autobot. So from now on, you can call me Turones Prime. ehehe

Scratched-out number 2 'coz we went bowling with them last night! Funny thing was, there's this kid on the other lane which has almost the same clothes as mine. (with matching bowling shoes). We can't help but laugh every time the kid and I are on the bowling lanes at the same time. Anyway, just look at the pic. :)
